The Family Religious Education Program begins this year for the 16th year! In fact, long before the current need for a distance learning option for the program, FREP was an original distance learning program. With support from the parish and countless talented instructors, families have been able to take the lead from instructors and work with their children at home. As the Catechism of the Catholic Church has written, parents are the first and foremost teachers of the faith. That has never been more apparent than the way the FREP program started and has been sustained from the beginning.
This year, under the direction of Father Thomas Firestone, a FREP Core Team is the driving force for organizing each month's FREP Meeting for a successful experience on the first Sunday of each month.
