Review: "Filled with wisdom and keen spiritual insight, A World Undone" breathes hope into darkness by showing you how trusting God changes your fear into courage and your hesitations into boldness." -MARK HART, CIO/executive vice president of Life Teen and author of the Something More Faith Series
REVIEWS: This notebook is a wonderful resource for following Fr. Mike's podcasts. The pages in the book have enough space for writing down some of the interesting tidbits of info that Father always injects. (E.G.: Abraham married again after Sarah died. Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of porridge! Isaac was in his thirties when his father almost sacrificed him!) The notebook is sturdy enough to last a year. One of the other features is that you can see at a glance which part of the bible we will be reading because the featured passages are right at the top of each daily notebook section. I highly recommend this notebook as part of your reading plan. --Sylvia on ascnesionpress.com
This notebook is exactly what I needed to jot down my reflections in a concise manner, or noting Father Schmitz’ commentary. I began by adding notes in my Ascension Press Bible and I continue to do so along with using the notebook. I intend to do this study a second time. Maybe a bigger notebook would be good for the second time around but for now, this size is perfect! Thank you Father, Jeff and Ascension Press! --Theresa on ascensionpress.com
EDITORIAL REVIEW: We live in a culture that produces hopelessness with astounding consistency. When everything seems chaotic and we are faced with a multitude of negative realities, we might be tempted to say that nothing makes sense anymore. But we are not alone God walks with us and his lively presence fills us with hope. And so we are able to smile in spite of our difficulties. Despair is defeated because God is among us. Hope does not disappoint! What gives you hope? What are your hopes and dreams for yourself, your children, your church, your community, your nation? What sustains that hope and turns those dreams into reality? What are some of the unique ways you bring hope to people in your life? The contributors featured in Beautiful Hope offer intensely personal answers to these questions, and their stories will spark your own exploration of hope and increase its abundance in your life.
