Ms. Amanda has worked at the Cottage since August 2013. She started at the Cottage as an afternoon aide and has since taken the required course to become EEC teacher qualified. Amanda continues to take college courses so she will be able to receive a degree in Early Childhood Education.
Amanda enjoys spending time with her two sons when she in not at the cottage.
Elizabeth joined us just about a year ago. She is currently working with Ms. Amanda in 2A and is an asset to the classroom. She helps implement fun activities and dance parties for the children. As well as carry out the daily routine such as snack, diapering, etc. Elizabeth was with us before as high school student but then moved back to Mexico but she is back with us. When she is not in her classroom she enjoys spending time with her children.
Ms. Ruth has worked at the cottage since mid-2018. She is working in Two B with Ms. Cynthia. Ruth is EEC teacher certified. She is always engaged with the children and plans an in depth, fun curriculum for the classroom.
Ruth also has her son in our preschool program and he has been enjoying his time at the cottage as well.
Ms. Cynthia has worked at the cottage since 2010. She is currently a teachers assistant but is working towards her EEC teacher certification. Cynthia is also our resident artist here at the cottage. She does all the amazing paintings on the windows!
Cynthia has her oldest daughter in our schoolage program, her middle daughter in our kindergarten class & Her son is in our two year old class. She is a very dedicated mother and she carries that over into the classroom working with all the children.
Stephanie joined us three years ago. She is currently working with Ms. Cynthia in 2B and is an asset to the classroom. She knows the children inside and out. She helps implement fun activities as well as carry out the daily routine such as snack, diapering, etc. Stephanie started with us as an assistant teacher and has since completed her coursework to become EEC certified teacher. She is currently working on furthering her education through a mentorship program.
