Ms. Mandy was with us in 2016, but she left to exploring working with autistic children and supporting children in Foster care. However she met her true calling as a classroom teacher and returned to us in July 2020. She is EEC lead-teacher certified. Mandy is working with Ms. Kasia in Pre-K A, she brings with her an amazing energy, a kind and supporting personality. Mandy also plans a fun and engaging curriculum in the classroom that is both appealing to the children but helping them meet their developmental milestones. She is a fantastic addition to the classroom.
Ms. Ashely joined us in September 2020. She has a bachelor's degree in Special Education Pre-K through 8th grade & a master's degree the Early Childhood Leadership. She is licensed through The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
She has been teaching for over 10 years, she has found joy working with all different age groups and is excited to be able to work with a wide range of ages. She loves finding new, fun and creative ways to help the children learn.
When she is not working, Ashley is very active within the New England volleyball community both as a player and a coach. She also loves traveling and spending as much time as possible with her niece and nephew in New York.
Ms Susan has worked at the Cottage since September 2018. She is licensed through the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. She has her bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a masters degree in Special Education Kindergarten - 8th grade. Susan has brought so much thought and excitement into our kindergarten classroom. The children in her class just adore her. With her extensive education in working with children in a special education classroom she is able to bring that into our kindergarten, offering a lot of positive praise to the children and working in a positive reinforcement plan for everyone.
Susan is originally from Texas but she relocated here with her new Husband. When susan is not working with the children she enjoys Chocolate and a good book!
Ms Susan has worked at the Cottage since September 2012. She has been a teacher in several of our classrooms. She most recently joined the school age program as their Coordinator. Susan takes pride in really trying to listen to older children and plan fun activities for them to do when they are not in school. You can often find her helping out in another classroom during the day or doing research on a fun and educational place for them to go visit while on a school vacation break.
Susan's grand daughter is also here at the cottage. When susan is not here with the children she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Jake joined us in September 2021. He currently attends Marlborough High School and works with the school age children on his school vacation days and after school. Jake is loved by all the children, you will constantly find him engaging them in activities both inside the classroom and outside.
