I have been employed at the Cottage Children's Center since September 2009. I began in the prek classroom as a teacher and eventually became the Lead teacher. I worked in Prek for a little over eight years. For the 2017/2018 school year I was working in the classroom but also took on the role of program coordinator for our preschool program. I guided and mentored the preschool teacher as well help structure curriculum for the classrooms. In March of 2019 I joined the adminstration and become assistant director in May of 2019. I have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and I have taken many courses in Administration and Business. I graduated from Quinsigamond Community College and attended Dean College and Mass Bay College. My career began in high school were I was lucky enough to work in a lab preschool for my junior and senoir year and completed their early childhood program graduating EEC preschool teacher certified. From there I went on to College continuing in the early childhood field. I have lived in clinton for the past 5 years. I have been married for 10 years. I have 1 child, Mia who is 4 1/2 years old (yes to her the half is very important). Mia is currently at the cottage in our pre-k classroom and is loving it! My favorite past time is spending time with my family and being outside. I feel the Cottage is my home away from home. It is a place with wonderful people to work with, children who make you smile and parents who truly care about quality childcare. My favorite quote is: “Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning.” -Albert Einstein
