Mini Strings is open to students up to the age of 10. Entry typically begins at Grade 1 to 2, depending on the instrument.9:00am

The Jazz Ensemble is a great opportunity for students on a variety of instruments to learn how to play jazz and contemporary music in a band. Students learn how to improvise, build their performance skills, acquire a thorough understanding of jazz harmony and theory, and perform jazz and contemporary repertoire. Students have the opportunity to perform for the Conservatorium at concerts and public performances throughout the year.7:30pm

'The Riley's' Contemporary Ensemble Rehearsal
Open to: ObserversAges: AllAbility Level: n/aTeacher: Dr Guy StrazzTime: 7:00 - 8:00pmLocation: Demountable 1, Conservatorium 45 Mann Street GosfordAbout: This Contemporary Music Ensemble is an exciting ensemble where young students explore and learn to perform contemporary popular music. Genres covered include rock, pop music, blues and other contemporary styles of music. Students learn to interpret a lead sheet (melody line and chord changes), learn to improvise and experience performing as a group. The age range of students is from teenagers to students in their early twenties. At least 4 years instrumental experience is required.FRIday
