To protect against this, individuals and companies should regularly update software. As well as use strong security systems, and implement multi-factor authentication to reduce vulnerabilities

Completing this cybersecurity project helped me better understand the importance of protecting personal information online and staying aware of digital threats. I learned about different types of cyberattacks such as phishing, ransomware, hacking, and identity theft, along with how these attacks can affect both individuals and large organizations. Researching current cybersecurity news articles also improved my digital literacy skills because I had to evaluate whether sources were accurate, reliable, and up to date. In addition, I learned how simple actions like using strong passwords, avoiding suspicious links, and enabling two-factor authentication can help prevent cyber incidents. Overall, this project increased my awareness of online safety and taught me how important cybersecurity is in everyday life.
