The majority of respondents (~42%) viewed the diversity of the creative team assigned to a comic as "important". Additionally there is roughly a 4:1 ratio among participants in terms of value assigned to this level of diversity (with about four participants indicating that this creative diversity is important to their comics purchases for every one that says it is not). Less than a third of respondents had no opinion/neutral responses about the diversity of the creative team on books they purchased.
The majority of respondents (~51%) viewed the diversity of characters as an "important" factor in their comics purchasing decisions. This metric had the fewest number of people respond that it was "not important", with less than 10% saying character diversity was not an important factor in determining their comics purchases. Approximately 15% had no opinion or a neutral response to character diversity as an influence on their comics purchasing decisions.
The majority of respondents (~55%) indicated that media attention (e.g. interviews, reviews, etc.) had no meaningful impact on their purchasing decisions; these folks indicated a neutral response. Roughly 33% of participants indicated that media attention was not an important factor in determining their comics purchases. Only about 11% of participants indicated that media attention was an important factor in determining their comics purchases.
