About Us

ORCA Lab (Optimized & Reconfigurable Computing Architecture Laboratory) is a research group led by Prof. Seungsik Moon in Department of Electronics Engineering at Chungbuk National University (CBNU), Cheongju, Korea.

We design cost-efficient algorithms and optimized hardware architectures for next-generation wireless communication (5G/6G baseband), AI accelerators (NPU), and RISC-V processors, and implement them on ASIC and FPGA.

ORCA 연구실은 차세대 통신을 위한 기저대역 신호처리 아키텍처, NPU를 비롯한 AI 반도체 및 하드웨어 가속기, RISC-V 프로세서 설계를 연구합니다. 알고리즘과 하드웨어를 함께 최적화하는 상호최적화 방식으로 경량 알고리즘을 설계하고 이를 ASIC/FPGA 기반 시스템반도체로 구현합니다.
