Internet
Clemson University uses Eduroam as the primary secure wireless network. You should be able to connect to the same internet if your school also uses Eduroam.
Alternatively, Clemson has a wireless network for all campus guests which is broadcast as "clemsonguest". You will simply need to connect to the network, and before you can start browsing, it will have you accept the terms of use to connect to the network. The device you use to connect to ClemsonGuest will be remembered on the network for the next seven days. More specific instructions can be found here.
Necessities for Campus Housing
The campus housing rooms only provide basic furnitures without any bedding (except a mattress), towels or toiletries. If you need to buy those, you may go to either Walmart Supercenter in Central or the Marshalls located in Hartwell Village.
Parking
Participants who drive to Clemson will receive a parking pass in your conference packet. With this permit you may park at the "Summer Perimeter Parking" lots in this parking map. If you stay at the campus apartment housing, the parking lots R-7 and R-8 are the closest to where you stay (Douthit Hill West Building A). General parking information for summer conferences and programs can be found here.
For short term parking, you may also consider using metered parking ($2.25 per hour). In particular, there are metered parking spaces outside Mauldin Hall (where you check in for campus housing) and Watt Center (where the conference is held). More information about Metered Parking is available here.
