Working with the Touchpad
You can use your Chromebook touchpad to move the pointer, right click items on the screen and more. Practice interacting with your Chromebook touchpad as you go through each of the keys below. In addition, using a touchpad may be new for your students. Spend some time getting them used to navigating with the touchpad.
Click
To click:
- Press the lower half of the touchpad. You can also tap the touchpad once to click.
Right Click
To right click:
- Click or tap the touchpad with two fingers
Drag and Drop
To drag and drop:
- With one finger, click the item you want to move
- With the second finger, move the item
- Release both fingers to drop the item at its new location
