Transition to Practice
Transition to Practice (TTP) is the final stage of training in CBD. It is in this stage that learners consolidate the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout residency to make the transition to autonomous practice. At Western, TTP begins after the written exam at the earliest. This timing is meant to allow residents to take the most advantage of the feedback gained in TTP to provide them with the tools they need for independent practice.
Below, you will find more information on how this stage of training is implemented at Western.
