Resident Scholarly Project Timeline

All Western Anesthesia residents are required to complete and present at minimum one scholarly project during their residency. This project may be either a Quality Improvement study or an Original Research project. Below is a guideline to help you plan your scholarly project progress through residency.Â
Scholarly Project Proposal is to be submitted to the RRC. Completion of this stage may include ethics/Lawson/QI application.Â
Presentation may be done prior to the suggested timeline, and must include only original datasets not presented or published previously. Publication of research study may be accepted in lieu of presentation in special circumstances, at the discretion of the resident research coordinator and the program directors.
