PRIDE, DARING, FREEDOM
SteppeClan are the daredevils of the Cauldron, nomads whose heart is made to beat by competition and challenge; to overcome every obstacle before them with a powerful leap is the SteppeClan way. They never stop moving across their rolling grassland home, travelling between their outpost-camps and making entirely new ones along the way, only staying in one place for at most a season. Their never-ending travels are in dedication to their Honored Dragon, the Lōng, who taught them so long ago the language of dragons. This language is kept alive and known by their Dragonchoir, the dragonsingers and dragondancers training their whole lives in dedication to the sacred bloodart.

The Honored Farsæll of the Wind
STEPPENS are cats showcase a rather long and lean frame, especially of tail, with small paws built for speed and endurance against the grasslands they call home.

— PATTERNS. Rosettes, spots, spotted tabbies, counter-shading.
—COLORS. Golds, golden-browns, creams, rarely russets and darker browns.

Prefixes. Birds, and especially birds of prey, are the staple Steppen prefixes, as are weather phenomena. Grassland predators and crystals are the second most popular prefix genre. Plant prefixes are few and far between, as are small prey prefixes; the latter for a belief of it being bad luck.
