American photographer Jessie Swimeley was born in Gillette, Wyoming in 1979. She finds great joy uncovering beauty and significance in the insignificant. Jessie received her BA in Photography from the University of Oregon and is the President of the Treasure Valley Artists Alliance. She currently resides in Boise, Idaho with her partner Joel.

Jessie won an award from IGFA for her photography at our inaugural exhibition "Fearless" which opened on June 18, 2021. We are looking forward to a long-term journey with Jessie.

She is a formidable, professional fine art photographer and installation artist. Jessie is also the president of the Treasure Valley Artists Alliance (TVAA) in Idaho.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jessie as this year (2021) marks the year that she had to wave her beloved Inky goodbye as Inky walked across the rainbow bridge.

The love we are capable of feeling for an animal is no less than what we may feel for a fellow human being.

Inky is so deserving of being honored and celebrated for the lovely and generous soul she shared with every human who came across her path.

Thank you, Jessie, for allowing us all, even those of us who did not have the privilege of knowing Miss Inky this side of Eternity, to honor her life.

IGFA hopes to memorialize Inky as the tribute ambassador of "Catwalk" on an ongoing, annual basis.
