Adult Classes

Adult Art Classes

In the Adult Art Classes I teach, I aim to share the skills and techniques I have developed over the 25 years I have been working as an artist. I have experienced some great activities during my time at art college and over the years have experimented with many different styles from art history.

As well as the skills needed for observational drawing, I teach techniques that will help create accurate drawings. Revisiting these skills occasionally through the blocks of courses and exploring ways of applying different media to the surface to create different effects. We work in a wide variety of media; pencil; pastels; charcoals; coloured pencils; oil pastels; watercolours; pen and ink; acrylics; clay and printmaking and in different scales of size.

I currently run classes at Emerson's Green Village Hall on a Wednesday, 2 hour session 2:30 pm to 4:30pm and then an hour session on the evening 7:30-8:30pm.

The classes cost £8 for a one hour session including materials and £16 for a two hour session including materials and a refreshment break. The classes are run in term blocks so can vary between 5, 6 and 7 weeks.
