Greetings, 

Welcome to your e-portfolio assignment. Each of you is expected to produce an e-portfolio at the end of the semester. E-portfolios are a "high-impact practice," which means that they have been proven to be an effective educational tool. 

The primary purpose of this process-based portfolio is to enable you to reflect on how you've developed as a writer, which will help promote transfer from this class to your other courses and your life outside of and beyond college. Another goal for this project could be to share your work with someone who might be interested: family members, peers, or future students. If you produce an e-portfolio you are proud of, you could continue to gather your work here to showcase it to future employers.
