Lessons I Learned: I learned there are many computer components to choose from than I originally considered. There are so many different components to building your own PC, it honestly was overwhelming for someone who is not familiar with all aspects of technology. The overall cost breakdown and pricing for the PC was somewhat shocking. I knew that gaming PCs and everyday use computers are expensive, but I would say I never realized how expensive it truly is. I think it is interesting how a computer can be built from scratch to meet the requirements of the user. I think this project was fun to gain a general idea of PC building, components, and cost. I would love to build my own PC one day, but until I have more knowledge and funds, I will stick to prebuilt laptops and desktops!
