Through my SPTE 444 Event Management final project, where I helped develop a full-scale charity concert, I gained a deeper understanding of how much detail goes into successful event management. From building out ticketing strategies, and pricing tiers to planning staffing, security, and communication systems, I realized that every component must be intentionally designed to support the overall event experience.
This project reinforced my understanding that small details are what bring an event together.Â
Through my experience working ticketing at MLB All-Star Village, I saw how small details directly impact the flow of the event and guest experience. My role required me to quickly and accurately scan tickets, manage entry lines, and maintain a welcoming environment for a high volume of guests. This experience reinforced what I learned in my SPTE 444 class. Successful events depend on how well small operational details are executed.
