Mutua Madrid Open
I am graduating in May with a Bachelor of Science in Sport & Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina. I am originally from Chicago, and I've been around sports my entire life, which has shaped both my personal values and professional interests.
Throughout my time at South Carolina, I have combined my academic coursework with hands-on experience in sports and live event settings. One of the most meaningful experiences was serving as a gameday recruiting intern with South Carolina Football. This role strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, manage fast-paced situations, and contribute to a very high level Division 1 athletic program.
Most recently, my role with Premier Talent Sports & Entertainment has given me exposure to the business side of sports, where I conduct market research on NIL trends, sponsorships, and athlete branding strategies.
My youth growing up as an athlete combined with these experiences have shaped my professional goal of working in event operations within the sports industry.
Portfolio Summary
This portfolio is organized into two main sections: Key Insights and Leadership. In the Key Insights section I analyze the most meaningful lessons I have learned by connecting my coursework with my experiences outside the classroom. In the Leadership section, I outline how I plan to apply these insights to address challenges and contribute to the future of the sports industry. This portfolio reflects my development as both a student and an emerging professional.
