CAS isn’t a checklist — it’s a personalized journey. Start by asking:
"What excites or challenges me?"
"What skills do I want to build?"
"What impact do I want to have?"
The best CAS experiences come from your interests.
Your project can be big or small — what matters most is that it’s meaningful to you and demonstrates learning.
Use the following five-step guide to structure your experience:
Identify a meaningful goal or issue
What is the purpose of the activity or project?
How does it align with creativity, activity, or service?
Design your plan
What will you do?
Who will be involved?
What resources or permissions do you need?
3. Take action
Begin your activity or project
Document your progress (photos, logs, journals).
4. Reflect Regularly
What are you learning?
What surprised you?
How are you growing?
5. Review and report
What was the outcome?
What would you do differently next time?
Which of the CAS learning outcomes did you meet?
