TERMS AND CONDITIONS
To secure your order, please send at least 50% down payment (DP). Your order is confirmed once payment is received. Only fully paid orders can be dispatched. Orders placed within 3 days before pickup incur a 25% rush fee to cover overtime and added production costs. We reserve the right to cancel an order if payment is not received promptly. Payment means you agree to all Terms & Conditions.
Change Requests
On Design - We accept design or detail changes up to 10 days before pickup. Change requests may incur additional fees.
On Dates - Requests to change the pickup or delivery date must also be made at least 10 days in advance and are subject to approval based on our production schedule and availability. We do not accommodate requests for date changes within 10 days of the scheduled pickup or delivery. If we are unable to approve the requested date change, the order will proceed on the originally booked date.
Please note that cancellations are not allowed, and all orders will follow the terms stated in the Cancellation Policy below.
Orders are non-refundable once placed. Cancellations are strictly not allowed. In exceptional cases and subject to management approval:
All downpayments are non-refundable.
The downpayment may be applied as store credit for a future order within two (2) months from the original pickup date.
Costs for supplies or materials already purchased and not reusable for the future order will be deducted from the credited amount.
No cash refunds will be issued.
While we cannot recreate another cake artist’s exact work, we are happy to design a cake inspired by your reference while keeping our Carryn’s Cakes signature aesthetic.
Due to the handcrafted nature of our cakes, slight variations in color, décor placement, and overall look may occur. Lighting and screen settings may also affect how colors appear. These minor differences are not grounds for refund, discount, or remake. Floral availability may vary; when certain flowers are unavailable, we will substitute with the closest match in palette and style.
If sketches or reference mockups are provided, approval means all details have been reviewed. Changes requested after approval may incur additional charges.
If a cake is damaged after pickup or handover, repairs start at ₱250. Fees depend on the extent of damage, materials needed, and repair time. We may decline repairs that could compromise food safety or disrupt ongoing orders. We do not offer rush or “while-you-wait” repairs. Customers or drivers may not wait inside or outside the workspace during repair unless it is limited to a box adjustment.
In cases such as illness, family emergencies, or critical events, we may cancel an order. A full refund will be promptly issued.
Cakes may include non-edible supports such as wires, dowels, floral tape, toppers, and toothpicks. Customers must remove all non-edible items before serving.
Products may contain or come into contact with dairy, eggs, wheat/gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and artificial colors/flavorings. Customers are responsible for informing guests of potential allergens, and Carryn’s Cakes is not liable for allergic reactions.
All orders are for pick-up only unless otherwise indicated. Customers must inspect their order upon pickup. Once a cake has been handed over to the customer, representative, or driver, all responsibility for transport and handling transfers to the customer. We are not liable for damages, melting, mishandling, or deterioration caused during transit, long travel times, or exposure to heat.
DO NOT TRANSPORT CAKES VIA MOTORCYCLE
If a customer books their own Lalamove, Grab, or motorcycle courier, they assume all delivery-related risks. We are not responsible for courier delays, mishandling, rough transport, melting, or incomplete/incorrect delivery. Once the item leaves our premises, the courier is considered the customer’s representative.
Cakes are delicate and we cannot guarantee repair or replacement if damaged during transport. Carryn’s Cakes has other appointments and order deadlines to meet, and cannot be held responsible for damages caused by courier or transport. We may refuse to assist with damaged cakes if our shop is closed or if doing so would interfere with other orders.
Customers choosing their own courier assume full responsibility for safe transport.
We provide proper storage instructions for cakes and pastries. Failure to follow these instructions—such as not refrigerating, exposing the cake to heat, or improper handling—voids eligibility for refunds, repairs, or replacements.
Our products are best consumed immediately for optimal freshness, texture, and flavor. Natural changes such as light sweating, softening, or slight fading over time are normal and not considered defects.
Any concerns must be reported within 4 hours of receiving the product. Complaints beyond this window cannot be accommodated, as cake quality depends heavily on how it is handled and stored after pickup.
Daily pickup cutoff is 8:00 PM unless an earlier closure is announced. Orders not picked up by the cutoff and stored overnight will incur a ₱200 per day storage and refrigeration fee. Items that reach their expiry timeframe while unclaimed will be discarded for safety. No refunds or replacements will be issued for spoiled, expired, or discarded items due to late pickup. Orders unclaimed for 48 hours are considered abandoned and will be disposed of with no refund.
We may use photographs or videos of our cakes for marketing, social media, and portfolio purposes.
