I used WordPress to create an online portfolio for artist, Amy Stephens. She submitted a list of requests for the mood of the site, preferred colors, and required content. I created a mock-up and made modifications per her feedback. When the website was live, I set up an online shop for customers to purchase her pieces and commision custom artwork.
I created this website to present research on ASL and indigenous country signs as a free resource to educators, interpreters, and the Deaf community. While the website is no longer extant, the videos still are hosted on the ASL Resource YouTube channel. You can watch and pause the video on full screen to explore the website.
I developed this website using a visual-spatial approach for user-centered design (Baehr 2007). I initially met with the massage therapist to gather content and inquire about requested specifications. After several iterations and prototypes, the final mobile-responsive website was published. Pause the video to explore this hand-coded website with supplementary material. When the website was live, it contained an online form for appointments. (HTML file).
