Objectives:
To write a description about an animal.
To identify pets, wild and domestics animals.
Lesson Plan 1
Warmer: 10 minutes.
The teacher will recycle vocabulary about animals and what students remember. The teacher will ask the students to say some words and she will write them on an AnswerGarden. The Students will be able to see the difference between the size of the font and the repetition of words.
Then, the teacher will ask the student some questions for them to answer (using the words that came up), such as: GRAY - BIG - TIGER - TAIL - SHORT
What animal is gray?
Is the elephant big or small?
Do tigers have tails?
Are the tails long or short?
Web: 30 minutes.
The teacher will then show the students a YouTube video. The video will present students with the difference between pet, domestic, farm and wild animals.
After watching the video the teacher will ask students to find animals on a word search. In this way students' can show what animals they have heard about on the video.
First, the students will look for the words. Then, they will watch the video again. After that, the students will complete the following chart:

Students will choose one of the animals form the video. They will work on their binders. They will draw the animals and after that, they will write and complete the following sentences:

Warmer: 10 minutes.
The teacher will recycle vocabulary from the previous class by playing riddles with the children on a LiveWorksheet.
Web: 30 minutes.
After the game, the teacher will ask the students to solve an activity about animals’ description on a LiveWorksheet.
Then the teacher will ask the students to choose an animal from the list.

After choosing the animal, the teacher will introduce Switch Zoo website, where students are going to read information about the animal they have chosen.

Finally, the students are going to write a description of the animal they have chosen. The teacher will provide a chart to the students with vocabulary for them to use in their descriptions.
Students will first write the title. Then, draw the animal and after that use the vocabulary they remember for the lesson and the chart in order to write the description of the animal.
