Hopefully after completing the journey that is my portfolio, you will have pieced together the timeline of events that I put together for you in the “Foreword” page. As much as you enjoyed reading this, I enjoyed creating it for you. Me being a freshman in college, I dread the idea of a new writing assignment but after completing one of these essays, I gain a sense of clarity from taking a second look at things. This makes me feel that this assignment was not a complete waste of time and work. Watching my progress from paper to paper improve gave me a better idea of how the overall portfolio was meant to look like. I believe that I gained more clarity after completing each assignment because I was able to see how it related in comparison to the previous assignment. This stranger that I exposed within myself, other people, and other locations led to a made-up hatred and concluded in an empathetic short film. It amazes me that I created this developing story without even realizing it in the making. I am glad that I was able to experience making this portfolio because I believe that it made me grow as a writer in terms of writing for the bigger picture. I appreciate anyone who reads this portfolio and l hope that you enjoyed it.
