The Teaching with Blackboard Learn course, was created to serve as a best-practice model for course development and was a thoughtfully designed, self-paced learning experience where participants are able to explore Blackboard’s key features and functionality. Pedagogical approach and design principles were embedded into instructional content and modeled throughout the entire course to promote an intellectually engaging and collaborative learning environment.
Worked in an all virtual environment to develop an online training course to provide basic computer skills to CPCC faculty and staff. Using a corporate training model, a virtual education, self-pace modularized training course was created that would take CPCC faculty and staff through the basics of using a computer and navigating both computer programs and file structures, as well as the internet. Real-world experience was gained while working as an integral part of the professional development instructional design/developer team. This course was created using Composica (CAP software).
