Cardio-Sync’s mission is to create a solution that collects, analyzes and transmits biometric data seamlessly to the treating healthcare providers and patients to improve health outcomes.
Cardio-Sync was born out of a desire to make healthcare more accessible to all citizens during these uncertain times with the epidemic, when doctor's visits are constantly being postponed. We were also compelled to develop an app that would be accessible across all mobile devices, as this would broaden our reach.
Furthermore, as grade 9 students, we have grown more aware of the challenges that Indigenous populations living on reservations face, as well as their limited access to basic human resources. As a result, we took this concept and decided to build a platform that would allow all Canadian residents (including Indigenous peoples) to easily manage their cardiovascular health and communicate with their doctors.
Ultimately, we hope that Cardio-Sync will bring together our Canadian society and ensure that all citizens have access to healthcare at the comfort of their homes.
