Webber 

Ms. Webber is an ELA and social studies teacher for 6B. Ms. Webber attended the University of St. Fransis. She studied middle grades education and focused on English and social studies. Outside of school, Ms. Webber likes to play video games, do make-up, have game nights, read mystery books, and listen to music. She loves her job and is honored to work with students and get to know and help them. 

 Watson 

Mrs. Watson teaches ELA, math, and Science. She went to Northeastern IL; Ms. Watson also went to Concordia for her master's degree in reading. Outside of school Ms. Watson likes to bake and cook, hike, camp, listen to music, and go to concerts. Something else about Ms. Watson is that her favorite ice cream flavor is Moose tracks, and she is a vegetarian. 

Berard 

Mr. Berard is the new Spanish teacher at palos south. He attended IL State University for his bachelor's degree and went to University of St. Fransis for his masters. The things Mr. Berard likes to do in his free time are to try new restaurants and go to concerts. A fun fact about Mr. Berard is that he is an identical twin. Mr. Berard is happy to be a cardinal. 

Polk 

Mrs. Polk is an Aid. Mrs. Polk received her associates at Moraine Valley. She went to Northern Illinois University for undergraduate. Mrs. Polk loves to work out, kayak, go on nature walks and go to punk rock and heavy metal concerts. Ms. Polk is an amazing aid! 

 Legris 

     Ms. Legris is our assistant principal. She is in her 20th year of work as a staff member. Before Palos South she worked as a dean at West Aurora. She is an amazing assistant principal but what does she like while out of school? Ms. Legris loves spending time with her family and enjoys going to the gym. She says she is so glad she is working here, and she thinks that everyone is so nice here.  

 Abdrabo 

    Ms. Abdrabo is an EL teacher at Palos South. Before she came to Palos South, she taught 6th grade science at Brooks Middle School in district 152. Ms. Abdrabo loves to read and spend time with her family when she is not working. Ms. Abdrabo has 3 boys and 1 girl. 

 Zakaria 

    Ms. Zakaria is an EL teacher at Palos South like Ms. Abdrabo. Ms. Zakaria worked in Tinley Park at Fulton and Fierke before coming to this school. Ms. Zakaria likes to spend time with her family and loves to cook. She also likes to see the different architecture and designs found in the city. 

  Jayaweera 

    Ms. Jayaweera is an ELA teacher at our school. She taught in Columbia, South Carolina at St. Andrews Middle School for 2 years. She taught 8th grade South Carolina history. Outside of school Ms. Jayaweera likes to bake, travel, knit, hang out with her husband and her two cats, read, and watch TV.  She loves how respectful all the students here are. 

 Masini 

    Ms. Masini is our school psychologist. Before Palos South she worked at Ludwig school in district 92 in Lockport. She likes to jog and go to her kid's sport events. She loves hanging out with her family and friends. She is such a nice staff member.
