Distribution; California, Oregon and British Colombia
Information: In Douglas fir and Tanoak forests. Can be found by searching old shelf fungi, specifically Laetiporous sulphureus or Ganoderma applanatum
Description: Body: very compact and rounded, light brown in coloration with a darker undertone and covered in dense light brown setae. Appendages dark red with small light brown setae. Tarsal formula: 5-5-4. Antennae: clavate, 11 segments, 3-segment club. Elytra with large, flattened tubercles, covered in setae. Pronotum with two deep, exagerated antenal grooves and two smaller grooves near the pronotal base. Both run along the lateral margins. Eyes well developed and obvious. Ventral surface light brown, covered in setae.
