Distribution; Northern coastal CA
Information: Nocturnal. May be found in coniferous/evergreen forests in Northern coastal California, adults rather rare, but may be seen beneath fallen logs, stones, or discarded bark.
Description: Head quite wide, much longer than the short pronotum, pronotum very small, triangular. Medial line of pronotal disk deep, apex of head smooth, furrows not present except between eyes. Elytra brown-black with violet or blue luster. Antennae quite slim and short.
