Distribution; North of Utah, into Southwestern Canada.

Information: Primarily known to reside in or near both montane coniferous and deciduous forests. Carnivorous, prefer gastropods or fleshy organisms. 

Description: Elytral sculpture rough, but overall fairly consistently rounded. Body dusty black.
