Information: among sandy or silty soils, gravel along roadsides and developed areas, fields, meadows.
Description: body: elongate-quadrate, semi-slender. Dorsal colouration: glossy silvery-black. Head triangular, smooth. Occiput constricted into neck. Antennae glossy black, pubescence begins on the second antennomere following the pedicel. Pronotal disk glossy greyish-black; cordate-transverse, short. Hind angles obtuse, margins thin but upturned, dorsal face riddled by shallow wrinkles. 7-8 shallow, nearly absent, striae, elytral apex truncate, abdomen protrudes slightly from under tip of elytra. Lateral margin of the humeral shoulder each hold one long, pale seta. Elytral region quadrate. Ventral colouration: glossy black. Body relatively flat.
