Distribution (also applies for the male); WA‒CA, ID, NV, along the California-Mexico border
Information (also applies for the male): n/a
Description: body: elongate-ovate, slender; weakly convex. For dorsal and ventral colouration, see male description. Legs pale yellow to dark reddish-brown. Head smallish; triangular; eyes large, strongly bulging laterally; two long, pale supraorbital setae over each eye. Surface of the head mostly smooth, with two small dimples on the frons, which continue onto the clypeus briefly. Clypeus-frons suture mostly straight. Clypeus with two setigerous pits, one on each dorsal lateral margin. Front margin of the clypeus weakly curved inward of the head. Labrum large, obscuring most of at least one mandible when they are closed; rectangular, dark with opaque orange front and lateral margins. Palpi half pale brown, half pale yellow, tips pale. Scapus, pedicel, first and second antennomeres pale orange-yellow. Antennal pubescence begins on the second antennomere following the pedicel. Pronotum short, but not enough so to appear transversely stretched; front margin very weakly curved inwards; front angles rounded-obtuse, angles forward slightly; lateral margins rounded, moreso near the front angles, sloped forward weakly; hind angles nearly squared; nasal margin sinuous, as broad as the humeral shoulders. Lateral margins strongly beaded, including the front angles; basal margin beaded, very weakly so. Lateral margins of the pronotum are typically fainly opaque reddish. Median line relatively faint; disk mostly smooth, but appears to have many thin cracks across it. Two dimples should be found on the pronotum, one on either side of the lower median; basal region of the disk should be textured, with an almost rough dorsal appearance. Scutellum exposed; parascutellar pores present. 8 well-defined striae per elytron, intervals flattish. Laterobasal ridgesentire, with no apparent lip on the humeral shoulder angle. Humeral shoulders obtuse; lateral margins round-elongate; apices pointed.

Head heavily micropunctate, otherwise mostly smooth. Two small dimples on the frons, neither of which continue onto the clypeus. Clypeus-frons sutural margin curved toward the base of the head; clypeus with two setigerous pits, one on either lateral dorsal margin. Labrum small, sometimes slightly reddish on the fron margin. Face short; mandibles short, curved close to the head. Palpi half pale, half brown, tips pale. Two long, supraorbital setae over each eye: setae pale. Eyes do not bulge laterally. Scapus, pedicel, and first following antennomere yellow-orange, the rest of the antennae should be brown. Antennal pubescence begins on the second antennomere following the pedicel. The first antennomere following the pedicel should be slightly longer than the scapus; all other antennomeres about as long as the pedicel. Pronotum domed forward; fron angles obtuse; lateral margins curved, sloping forward; hind angles obtuse; basal margin weakly sinuous. Lateral margins strongly beaded; front margin not beaded fully; beading continues onto the basal margin, abruptly ending before the median. Median line shallow; most of the pronotal disk should be smooth; basal dorsum of the pronotum should be heavily micropunctate. Pronotal base as wide as the humeral shoulders. 8 deep, well-defined striae per elytron, intervals flattish. Parascutellar pores present; scutellum exposed; laterobasal ridges entire, with a small lip (not present on females) on the humeral angle.
