Description: body: elongate-ovate, slender. Dorsal colouration dark, glossy reddish-brown, ventral colouration reflects that; legs yellow-brown. Head triangular, elongate; surface of the head smooth, with two round, very small, very shallow dimples on the frons. Clypeus weakly wrinkled; labrum rectangular; mandibles strongly curved, tips sharp, thin. Palpi yellow-brown; antennae of the same colour; antennal pubescence begins on the second half of the second antennomere following the pedicel. Eyes large, flattened close to the head; two supraorbital setae over each eye. Pronotum squarish, semi-ovate, slender. Front margin weakly curved inward; front angles acute, nearly squared; lateral margins rounded, sloping forward; pronotal margins not beaded; hind angles squared, with round angle apices; basal margin straight. Median line thin, often vanished near the base of the pronotum; disk smooth. 8-9 well-defined striae per elytron, intervals flat. Laterobasal ridges entire, rather broad>>stretched toward the apices briefly. Strial interval 3 should have two small setigerous pits touching the 3rd stria, both on the basal half of the elytron. Humeral shoulders obtuse; lateral margins rounded-elongate; apices pointed.
