Description: body: elongate-ovate, narrow. Body pale orange-brown to pale yellow-brown with dull orange bordering the elytra and pronotal disk. Pronotal and elytra margins typically paler than the rest of the dorsal face of said body part. Ventral faces dark orange or orange-brown, legs dark yellow. 7-8 shallow, but well-defined striae per elytron. Pronotal median line spans across the full length of the pronotal disk; pronotum narrow, rounded-quadrate. Hind angles obtuse-rounded, lateral pronotal margins not upturned. Head glossy black, triangular, occiputal portion of head somewhat constricted into a 'neck'. Scapus yellow or dark orange, pedicel and antennomeres dark orange-brown, antennal pubescence begins on the second half of the first antennomere after the pedicel. Labrum dark brown-nearly black, width twice that of length, six pale setae line the forward-facing edge of the labrum. Base of mandibles dark red-brown, mandibular points dark yellow or pale orange. Palps pale yellow or orange. Apical angles of elytra rounded.
