Distribution; PNW; The Queen Charlotte Islands to Western Oregon
Information: Found among the acidic Sphagnum bogs found throughout the PNW, in forested locations.
Description: According to Lindroth, 1961:
3rd antennal segment with short pubescence (at least apically)
Alternate elytral intervals (1,3,5, etc.) with with seta-bearing punctures (clearly visible in lateral view)
Head and pronotum without hairs
Brilliant metallic, shiny, with antennae and legs black
Wings highly reduced (< one elytron in width and length)
