Description: body: elongate-ovate, slender. Dorsal colouration semi-glossy black. Head triangular, eyes smallish, head smooth, face short, mandibles curved, sharp. Scapus, pedicel, and first two following antennomeres smooth, antennal pubescence begins on the third antennomere following the pedicel. Pronotum narrowly cordate, median line weak, dorsal margins wrinkled, surfaces on either side of the median line inside of the wrinkled margins weakly elevated. Basal margin weakly sinuous, hind angles sharply acute, pointed towards the humeral shoulders. Front angles acute, rounded. 8-9 shallow striae per elytron. Subbasal ridge present, humeral shoulder rounded, apices pointed, rounded off. Ventral faces semi-glossy black, legs long, slender, glossy black, tarsi reddish-black.
