Description: body: elongate-ovate, slender. Dorsal colouration semi-glossy black. Head triangular, face short, somewhat rounded. Head smooth, few micropunctues around the base of the head, minor wrinkles span from one eye to the other. Antennae black, antennal pubescence begins on the third antennomere following the pedicel. Pronotum strongly cordate. Basal margin of the pronotum weakly sinuous, hind angles sharply obtuse, dorsal surface along the margins wrinkled. Median line deep, dorsal surfaces on either side of the median line smooth, elevated slightly. Front angles rounded acute, curved inwards, towards the base of the head. 8-9 well-defined striae, humeral angles rounded, widely obtuse, apices pointed, rounded. Ventral faces nearly matte, black, legs semi-glossy black.
