Description: body: elongate-oblong, slender. Head triangular, face long; dark, glossy red-orange; eyes large, bulging laterally; surface of the head smooth, frons with large triangular dimples, which briefly continue onto the clypeus. Mandibles slender, long; of a similar colour to the head; palpi orange, and are the same colour as the antennae; the first antennomere after the pedicel (segment #3) should be slightly longer than the scapus; pale antennal pubescence begins on the third antennomere after the pedicel. Occiput constricted into neck. Pronotum semi-cordate, elongate-slender; at the widest point the pronotal disk should be as wide as one elytron. Lateral margins weakly flattened, opaque orange; curving outwards from top of the constricted region, then rounded back towards the head; front angles rounded-obtuse; front margin rounded inward of the pronotal disk; lateral margins strongly sinuous; hind angles obtuse; basal margin weakly rounded. Median line strong, disk glossy, dark reddish-orange with a large depression on either side of the median line. Scutellum small, fully exposed. Elytra oblong; humeral shoulders rounded-obtuse; laterobasal ridges weakly sinuous; lateral margins nearly straight; apices sinuate. 8-9 thin, well-defined striae per elytron, intervals flat, metallic green. Elytral stria 2. should have 2-3 small fovea on it, scattered along the apical half of the stria. Ventral faces glossy, pale to dark orange.
