Description: body: elongate-oblong, slender. Dorsal colouration bronze. Head broad, triangular; frons with two indentations, which continue onto the clypeus; one seta on either margin of the clypeus; labrum orange. Mandibles curved, dark with pale regions. Eyes small, bulging laterally. Palpi pale yellow; scapus, pedicel, and the first following antennomere pale yellow, the rest are dark. Antennal pubescence begins on the second half of the first antennomere following the pedicel. Antennae rather short. Pronotum quadrate; front angles obtuse; lateral margins rounded; hind angles obtuse, nearly squared; basal margin very weakly sinuous. Lateral and basal margins beaded. Median line mostly absent, a few minor wrinkles protrude from either side of it. Pronotum smooth, convex; one either side of the lower median bulge is a very small, rough indentation. The pronotal base should be aligned with the elytral base, not overlapping: most of the scutellum is left exposed. Elytra dull bronze; lateral apical margins pale yellow; apical sutural margins pale yellow. 8 well-defined striae per elytron, intervals flatish. Stria 2 dotted with 7-11 fovea; stria 5 with around 10 fovea; stria 7 with 8-9 fovea. Number of fovea per striae often inconsistant between the eytra of the same individual. Elytral intervals 8 and 9 pubescent. Humeral shoulders obtuse, nearly squared. Laterobasal ridges entire, ending abruptly on either side of the scutellum; apices pointed. Ventral faces piceous, legs pale yellow.
