Description: body: elongate-ovate, slender. Head triangular, face short, dorsal surface of head smooth, head glossy, dark orange-yellow. Eyes weakly bulging laterally. Scapus, pedicel, and first following antennomere pale, rest of antenna dark. Antennal pubescence begins on the second antennomere following the pedicel. Pronotum rounded-quadrate, glossy orange, smooth. Hind dorsal angles sparsely punctate; median line faint; margins of pronotum lined by weak lateral bead. Hind angles of pronotum obtuse, lateral margins rounded, front angles somewhat acute, weakly curved inwards. The basal margin of the pronotum should not overlap the entirety of the elytra base--most of the scutellum exposed. 9 well-defined striae per elytron, elytral intervals flattish, no dorsal pubescence. Elytra glossy, pale orange, a darker triangle should be seen around the scutellum. Humeral shoulders squarish, rounded; lateral margins parallel or nearly so; apices rounded. Ventral faces: ventral surfaces of head and thorax pale orange; underside of abdominal region very dark or pale orange; legs yellow.
