Distribution; CA, NV, UT, AZ, NM, TX, OK, Baja California, Northern Mexico
Information: Largely nocturnal, found in dry, montane areas.
Description: Body shape- elongate-oblong, pronotum cylindrical narrow-cordate, basal margin truncate. Limbs yellow to orange in colour, joint connecting tibia and femur uniformly darker, unless teneral. Both protibiae possess a deep notch, which is not present on the remaining four limbs. Body and elytra are typically pale, or dark orange, underside of the pronotal region riddled with pits, also seen on the dorsal face of the pronotum and the head. Elytra, pronotum, and head covered with a coarse layer of setae. Near the apex of the elytra, on either side of the sutural margin, a brown oval marking should be present. Antennae opaque yellow, base of scape may appear orange.
