Description: body: elongate-ovate, moderately robust. Dorsal colouration: pronota bright or dull green and slightly bronze; elytra brownish-bronze, or with a grey appearance. Legs pale, yellow or orange, often with dark "knees". Head metallic green, smooth, two shallow dimples may be found on the frons, which continue onto the clypeus. The clypeus should be of the same colour as the surface of the head, mostly smooth; labrum short, rectangular, dark orange, lateral margins rounded slightly. Mandibles broad near the scapus, but curve strongly, into sharp points; dark reddish-orange in colour. Lower mouth parts pale yellow or orange. Scapus, pedicel, and first following antennomere should be pale yellow, the rest of the antennae should be dark; pale antennal pubescence begins on the second antennomere following the pedicel. Eyes strongly bulging laterally. Pronotum somewhat circular; weakly convex; anterior margin transverse, or very faintly rounded; anterior angles obtuse; lateral margins thinly beaded, opaque yellow; lateral margins rounded strongly; hind angles obtuse, basal margin nearly transverse. Pronotum fully micropunctate; located on either side of the lower median bulge should be a thin impression. 8 well-defined striae per elytron, intervals flattish, or very weakly elevated along the elytral base. Humeral shoulders rounded; lateral margins rounded, elongate, nearly parallel; apices round, weakly sinuate.
