Description: body: elongate-ovate, broad. Head somewhat squarish, bright, metallic green; surface of the head heavily, or sparsely punctate, with two weak dimples on the frons which briefly continue onto the clypeus. Clypeus smooth, metallic green. Labrum black, margins often weakly dark orange. Mandibles slender, mostly straight; inner margins black, rest of the mandible dark red. Lower mouth parts pale orange or yellow. Antennae long, thin; scapus, pedicel, first following antennomere (first three segments) should be pale, occasionally the base of the second antennomere following the pedicel also is pale, rest of antennae dark. Antennal pubescence begins at the end of the first antennomere following the pedicel. Eyes strongly bulging laterally, semi-spherical. Pronotum nearly as broad as the humeral shoulder width, short. Pronotum weakly metallic, pale green; front margin weakly rounded; front angles obtuse, bent forward slightly; lateral margins strongly rounded, very thinly beaded; hind angles obtuse; basal margin very weakly sinuous. Pronotum fully heavily punctate; two weak depressions on either side of the lower median bulge. Scutellum partially exposed. Elytra dull, dark green, fully pubescent. 9 well-defined striae per elytron, the first four striae from the elytral suture should be pitted, but only near the scutellum. Humeral shoulders obtuse; lateral margins rounded, elongate; apices wealy sinuate. Ventral colouration dark green, with short, pale pubescence. Legs orange.
