Information: n/a Unfortunately, at this time we only have one specimen in our collections, which is, as seen in the photo provided, incomplete. The specimen was found already deceased beneath a log on a dry lake bed in Northwestern Oregon.
Description: body: elongate-ovate, slender. Head dark grey-purple, shiny; face long, triangular, head smooth, eyes not overly large, bulging laterally. Scapus dark. No additional antennal information. Pronotum dull metallic violet; anterior margin transverse; anterior angles obtuse, slightly bent upward, front half of the pronotum convex; lateral margins weakly rounded, sloping forward slightly; lateral margins thinly beaded; hind angles acute, nearly squared; basal margin sinuate. Median line of pronotal disk deep, but shallows as it nears the base. Round depressions may be found in either side of the lower median bulge; dorsal faces of the disk along the lateral margins and the base should be heavily micropunctate; centre of the disk with faint transverse wrinkles. 9 well-defined striae per elytron, elytra heavily micropunctate, coated in a fine layer of short, pale pubescence, intervals flattish near he centre of the disk, weakly elevated as they near the lateral margins. Elytra semi-glossy to matte greyish-black under the pubescence. Humeral shoulders rounded; lateral margins parallel to each other; apices strongly sinuate. Ventral faces and legs glossy black, underside coated in a short, fine pubescence.
