Description: body: elongate-ovate, slender. Head black, semi-glossy; smooth. Face short, mandibles do not overlap/cross when relaxed, tips blunt, jaws broad. Palps orange. First half of scapus orange, rest of antennae piceous-black. Eyes fairly large, bulging laterally. Pronotum quadrate, lateral margins rounded; slightly upturned, thin. Hind pronotal angles obtuse, front angles weakly curved towards the head. Pronotal disk glossy, pale orange, disk faces near hind angles impressed, rough. Median line deep. Basal margin of pronotum does not overlap the elytral base. Elytra pale orange, with four black macules, two per elytron. On each elytron should be one triangular macule near the apex, with a second, somewhat squarish macule above it near the centre of the elytron. Sutural and lateral margins upturned slightly; humeral angles rounded, rounded-truncate apices. 7 well-defined striae per elytron, intervals flat. Ventral faces dark piceous to black, legs pale or dark orange.
