Description: body: elongate-oblong, slender. Head and pronotum glossy black. Striae absent Elytra glossy black with one yellow macule per elytron which begins at the base of the the humeral shoulder, the outer margins of both macules span about halfway down the elytral lateral margins, then curve back inwards-towards the base again, the proceeding to curve around towards the sutural margin of the elytra. The macule generally ends before reaching the sutural margins nearly at the halfway point of the elytra. Elytral apices truncate-rounded; one long, pale seta just above each of the elytral apices, on the lateral margins. Pronotum semi-cordate, base constricted, curving outwards from top of the constricted region, then back towards the head; hind angles pointed outwards; acute or squared. Pronotal disk mostly smooth, a few minor wrinkles near the base and lateral margins. Head smooth, slight wrinkles over the eyes, face long, eyes bulge. Occiput constricted into neck. Palps pale yellow-brown. First three antennal segments yellow; pubescence begins on the second antennomere after the pedicel. Ventral: legs dark to pale yellow, underside of body dark piceous. Body relatively flat.
