Child/Family Advocacy

The goal of the Family Advocacy Program is to make trusting relationships with clients. This program advocates for families who are poverty stricken. The Family Advocacy Program encourages families to reach out for assistance at CAPT/Our House. The staff will follow up with partner agencies to ensure that clients are receiving the services sought after.

The Family Advocacy Program helps encourage families who need assistance with resources including but not limited to employment, housing, food, clothing, counseling, substance abuse treatment, and parenting courses.

CAPT/Our House is also a partner of the United Way Agency of Wilkes County.
