Introduction to Sculpture - Spring 2018

Assignment one: FORMS: Plaster molding and casts        Parts

Assignment two: Create a sculpture with wood and metal that conveys a sensation/emotion and one dimension is at least your height. My creation is titled "Motion", stained oak and metal rods 68" x 30". Had fun in the wood shop and learned oxy-acetylene welding

The Fleur de lis was carved in wax and cast into iron; finished with a black tea patina and wax

Digital Sculpture: create a piece with a political theme using a digital process i.e. laser router/engraver or 3D printer on plastic/acrylic
