Denver Rescue Mission is proud to partner with the Denver Metro community to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Boxes are distributed at Empower Field at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos, every year on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Registration is required for receiving a box before 12:00 p.m. Please see below for full program details.
Each box provides Thanksgiving meal fixings for a family of 8-10 along with a frozen turkey.
*Boxes are limited. Registration will close when the maximum number of registrations is reached.

Every November for the last 20 years, this multicultural dinner has served as an opportunity for Denver’s community to welcome newly arrived refugee families with music, dancing, children’s games, and diverse foods. Our biggest event of the year, Refugee First Thanksgiving is a beloved tradition that brings together newcomers, volunteers, community partners, and more.

Since 2009, Kenzi’s Causes has been dedicated to spreading joy in the Denver Metro Community by providing new toys to children during the holiday season. Our Annual Toy Shop aims to serve at least 3,500 children, from birth to 18 years old, on the first Saturday of December every year.
Event Details
To participate, registration is required and will open the Thursday before the event at 9 am. Registration links will be available on our Facebook page and website. Due to high demand, spots fill up quickly—usually within 30 minutes. If you are unable to register, you may come at 3 pm to see if there are toys remaining, but please note that the event closes at 3:15 pm. Anyone arriving after this time will not be able to shop.
A large bag or something to carry your toys as we will not provide bags.
Birth certificates for each child you wish to shop for.
A photo ID for the parent receiving the toys.
Important Requirements:
A completed survey is required before you can shop, which will be provided on the day of the event.
Birth certificates and photo ID requirements are strictly enforced—no exceptions will be made.
You may only shop for your own children.
Our mission is to give away fully decorated Christmas trees to families in need.
